Can't say that it was a wonderful trip but it was better than expected. Well, I don't think I've blogged about this but I went on a company's "trip" to Pattaya on Thursday and just recently got back last Saturday, dead tired.
On Thursday, I dragged myself out of bed at a horrible time of 5 am and rushed to the meeting point just a tad before 6.30 am because the bosses told us that "the wheels will start turning at exactly 6.30".. and by 7.00.. we haven't left the meeting point. What's worse is that the bus was full of mosquitoes.. and I never seen that mosquitoes before. It was horrible and annoying, especially when those little insects fly by your ears and make this hight pitch wheeeeee-wheeeee sound.
Anyway, we didn't get any sleep on the bus because the guide kept on talking and cracking jokes and once we reached the resort (and spa... but I was not fortunate enough to get to the "spa" part) the meeting starts and go on until late in the evening. That night my colleague and I decided to visit the most famous club in Pattaya... but it ended up being exactly the same as the clubs in Bangkok. Meh...
To sum up my trip.. it was tiring and full of meetings but it is still a lot of fun. We had dinner party with great seafoods and desserts. On the last day, I played Go-Kart for the first time in my life!! and I was the last one to reached the finish line... LOL.. good effort for someone who doesn't have a driving license and does not know much about driving!!
Well.. I'm at the office so I better finish this blog before they catch me bumming around....but I see that my blog is suffering from severe lack of comment.. where is everybody?

Such a slow day... not much work for me to do (which is usually a source of joy) but I feel kind of restless. Maybe it is because it is Valentine's day. A slow..quiet..and eventless Valentine's day for me. People around here have roses and chocolates... and seems to be enjoying this day. Meh..
Currently listening to the song "Smile" written by Charlie Chaplin. Wish a smile will make this day better.
Good thing that I don't have class this evening.
I am jumping from topic to topic here.. not making sense at all.
I should make myself a cup of comforting milo.
and I should write to my friend in UK.

Yes, sad as it is, I have to say goodbye to the 1st season of ER that is currently being play on the Hallmark channel. Unbelievable as this might sound but I never watched ER before until the beginning of this year so you can imagne that I was hooked from the very first episode of the famous 1st season of ER. So goodbye "ER" (I hope they'll rerun it at different times next month).. and goodbye "Kidnapped"... and goodbye "Las Vegas".. and "3 lbs".. and House (I can't wait for season 3 to start!!)
I started work on the 1st of Feb as a Marketing Assistant for pharmaceutical company called Wyeth (Yess!! I got that job!!). The 4 working days that I spent there were good. I like this job and this place for more than my last. Yesterday I get a chance to visit the hospital and see how sale reps function in the real world. It is easy to see how psychology plays a big part in the Marketing realm.. now I am really glad I went to the my Social Psych class on "Pursuasion".
On a different note, last Saturday me and my friends went to La Rueda, a latin club on Sukhumvit Soi 18. Before La Rueda, we had dinner at a German restaurant called Bei Otta which I get a chance to sample this really weird mashed potato. It tasted like little bit of mased potato mixed with a large bit of flour.. however the waitress insisted that it is real 100% potato but I was silently rebuking.. I know what potato taste like woman!! You can't fool me!! Anywayyyy.. I had my first class of beginner Salsa at La Rueda. It was so much fun! I think that dancing is what I am good at.. and I am happy when I dance. I got introduced to a few people, Arnie the instructor (real cute), Wit the Med student (not bad either), a japanese guy whose name escapes me... and oh..hmm.. I think that's about it. Later in the night I get a chance to watched Gold medal dancer showing off her style on the dance floor. I can't wait to go back to La Rueda this Saturday!!
